Our founding year

• Foundation of the company under the name STAR Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH by Udo Piontek and Klaus Lange am Schornacker
• Entry in the commercial register on 19.07.1995
• Offer of installation technology (only the first 1.5 years) and production of of welded fittings
• Office space approx. 100 m² 
  Production and storage area approx. 650 m²

1996

• Expansion of the product range through production of our first seamless bends

1999

• Expansion of the site area at Schornacker
• production of the seamless bends moves into the production halls
• Expansion of the product range with the start of production

• The decision is made to move to a larger location in Wesel
• Production in Troisdorf and production at Schornacker were relocated to Schepersweg

• The entire company moves to Schepersweg in Wesel
• A total area of 30,000 m² is available here
• Expansion of the product range through the manufacture of electroformed parts
• 15,000 m² of covered hall space (warehouse and production)

• STAR is the first and only manufacturer to receive the DVGW certificate for seamless bends

• Udo Piontek and Klaus Lange decide to expand the management team and bring Florian Lange and Andreas Bramert on board

• STAR Kunststoffverarbeitungs GmbH is renamed STAR Piping Systems GmbH
• STAR takes over MAX Schweißmaschinenvertriebs GmbH and from now on also offers plastic welding machines for sale and rental

• Expansion of the product range through in-house pipe production in Sprockhövel
• Udo Piontek and Klaus Lange leave the company
• Florian Lange and Andreas Bramert now have full management responsibility
• Felix Lange receives authorized signatory
